Privacy Policy — Screen Recorder

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how AH Software ("we", "us") handles information when you use Screen Recorder (the "App"). We collect as little as possible: the App's features run on your device, and we do not sell your personal data.

Device permissions

The App asks for these permissions only to provide its features. You can revoke them at any time in your device settings; some features may then stop working.

• Screen capture — to record your screen only after you start a recording and confirm Android's screen-capture prompt. Recordings are saved on your device and are not sent to us.
• Microphone — to capture audio for the features you use, such as live playback or recordings. Audio is processed on your device and is not sent to us.
• Display over other apps — to show a floating control (for example a stop button) while you use other apps.
• Notifications — to show reminders, recording status or controls you have turned on.
• Storage — to save files you create (such as recordings, videos or exported images) on your device and open them again in the App.
• Internet access — to connect to the online services described in this policy.

Advertising

The App shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID, IP address and information about your interaction with ads to show and measure ads, which may include personalized ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device settings. How Google uses data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Analytics and crash reports

We use the Google Firebase services below to understand how the App is used and to fix problems. They collect device and app information such as device model, OS version, app version, an app instance ID and crash logs; they do not collect the content you create. • Google Analytics for Firebase — app usage statistics.
• Firebase Crashlytics — crash reports and diagnostic logs.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. Information is shared only with the service providers named in this policy, so that they can provide their services to us, or when required by law.

Security

Data sent between the App and the services above is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Data retention and deletion

We do not keep personal data on our own servers. Files you create stay on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App. Data collected by the providers above is kept according to their own policies.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the updated policy.
